Performance Team Auditions June 7th
We are looking for dancers with smiles and great attitudes to audition for our 2016-2017 performance teams! Dancers ages 6-17 are invited to audition. Team members perform many times throughout the year and will be dancing in Disneyland in the summer of 2017!
Audition Details for June 7th:
Ages 6-9 4:30-6:00
Ages 10-12 6:00-7:30
Ages 13-18 7:30-9:00
Audition fee: $10
Dancers should come in dance attire and jazz shoes with hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun. They will warm-up, do across the floor progressions and learn a short routine by a guest instructor, to be performed for judges in groups. They do not need to prepare anything in advance. Occasionally, judges will ask a dancer to stay for the next age group audition, so be prepared to stay longer, if needed.
Those dancers who are chosen to be on a team will be required to take two classes over the summer. Results will be posted on the team web page the following day after auditions. A parent meeting will be held on the evening of June 14th to go over the parent/dancer contracts and the upcoming calendar for the season. If you have questions about the commitment and costs involved with the performing team, please contact Dotty.
