How to Find the Best Dance Studio

8/5/2018

Over the years I have seen many dance studios claim they are “the best” in hopes that the public will believe them and sign up at their place of business. The most humorous to me are the studios that haven’t opened yet, or are brand new to the market and are already boasting they are the best!  This claim always gets me thinking several questions for them:
  • Who gave you that title?
  • Are other dance studios not doing a good job?
  • Can’t we all be good at something?
I believe that most dance studio owners opened their businesses because they have a passion for dance and teaching. They want to share their passion and have a positive impact on those they have the privilege to teach. It is possible that many studios are good at what they do- sharing dance and spreading joy through a variety of methods and philosophies. It is important for the student and families to find the studio that is the right fit, which in turn becomes “the best” studio for them. You will never see a headline on my website, or anywhere else claiming that I am the best, out of respect for other studios who have the same mission as I do, but I do promise to do my best in passing on the joy of dance to the next generation.

To be able to find the dance studio, you must be very clear in terms of the things you want to see on the said studio. Of course it has to be clean and spacious. Your movements will always dictate how good of a dancer you are and you will be needing a right amount of space for this aspect. But we all have our own preferences. Personally, as long as there dance studio is giving me the right vibe that I need then I will be definitely satisfied with that. Friendly staff is also a plus for me!

I found it interesting when you said that showing passion can increase the positive impact to children. My sister mentioned to me last night that she was planning to enroll my niece in ballet class as she loves to dance, and she asked if I had any idea what could be the best option to do. Thanks to this informative article, I'll be sure to tell her that it will be much better if she consults well-known dance classes as they can provide more information about the best packages.
